Jennifer Silver, CFA

Co-CIO, Founder & Managing Partner

Jennifer co-founded Redwood Investments in 2004 and is responsible for day-to-day management of the firm. She serves as Co-CIO and Portfolio Manager/Analyst. Previously, Jennifer was a Managing Director and Head of Growth Equity for Neuberger Berman where she launched the firm’s growth investing capabilities.  Prior to Neuberger Berman, she spent 16 years at Putnam Investments culminating with a senior leadership role as a Managing Director.

MIChael Mufson, CFA

Co-cio, Founder & Managing Partner

Mike co-founded Redwood Investments in 2004 and is responsible for day-to-day management of the firm. He serves as Co-CIO and Portfolio Manager/Analyst.  Before Redwood, Mike was a Managing Director at Putnam Investments and a member of the Executive Committee.  At Putnam, he managed Small and Large Cap strategies.  He began his career at Stein Roe & Farnham where he was a research analyst and portfolio manager for the Liberty Utility Fund.​

Alexi joined Redwood Investments in 2018 as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst for Redwood’s domestic equity strategies. His primary research coverage includes health care and industrials. Alexi was previously the Lead Portfolio Manager for the Beacon Growth Equity Team at Wells Fargo Assets Management and had previously held roles as Senior Analyst with Alydar Capital and Co-Lead Portfolio Manager/Analyst for the Small/Mid Cap Team at State Street Global Advisors.

Alexi makkas

Ezra Samet, CFA

Portfolio Manager & Analyst 

Ezra joined Redwood Investments in 2006 and serves as Portfolio Manager/Analyst.  Previously, Ezra worked as an associate at Rochester Management Corp., a commercial real estate firm, conducting market research and feasibility studies for commercial properties.

Donald smith, CFA

Portfolio Manager & Analyst 

Don joined Redwood in 2018 as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst for Redwood’s non-US strategies.  Most recently, he was the CIO of Global Emerging Markets at BNP Paribas Asset Management where he led two Global Emerging Market portfolios.  Prior to BNP, Don was the lead portfolio manager on the Turner Investments’ Emerging Markets Equity Portfolio and a Portfolio Manager on their Global and International Growth Portfolio and their Resource and Infrastructure Long/Short Fund. Also an accomplished rower, Don was a member of the US National Rowing team where he competed for the US in the 1996 and 2000 Olympics.

Tony Sutton

Portfolio Manager & Analyst 

Tony joined Redwood Investments in 2010 and serves as Portfolio Manager/Analyst.  Prior to Redwood, Tony was a Managing Director at Putnam Investments where he served as Portfolio Manager of the Putnam Small Cap Growth Fund.  He began his investment career at Fidelity Investments and following graduate school, he managed growth portfolios for private clients.  Tony is a combat-decorated former US Marine, specializing in intelligence with tours served in the Middle East and Central America. ​

Jonathan farber, CFA

Senior Analyst 

Jon joined Redwood Investments in 2018 as a Senior Analyst for Redwood’s non-US strategies.  His primary research coverage includes consumer discretionary, consumer staples, industrials, and telecom.   Prior to Redwood, Jon was an Investment Analyst at Sands Capital Management covering global consumer stocks.  He began his investment career at Cambridge Associates where he was a Senior Consulting Associate.

Susan Cha

Investment Associate 

Susan joined Redwood’s Operations Team in 2016 and in 2019, she became a member of the International Investment team.  In her role, Sue is responsible for research of Non-US equities. She graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Science degree in business administration and a concentration in accounting.

Yuda Goodman

senior Quantitative Analyst

Yuda rejoined Redwood in 2016 as a Quantitative Analyst and Trader.  He previously worked as a Trader at Redwood between 2010-2012.  In addition, Yuda spent several summers interning at Redwood.  Previously, he served in an elite Intelligence Unit (8200) of the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) where he operated in  a complex technological environment managing and analyzing data utilizing a variety of sophisticated high tech instruments and devices.​

Colin Dwyer

head Trader

Colin serves as Head Trader and is responsible for the firm’s global trading infrastructure, system, and processes.  In addition to his day-to-day trading responsibilities, he manages the desk and oversees relationships with our sell-side partners.  Prior to Redwood, Colin was employed as a manager at a specialty retail company.  As the company’s top salesperson and a leader and mentor in store operations, Colin cultivated a significant client base and guided the company through a high growth period.

Donald Pound III


Donny serves as trader on our global trading desk and works closely with our Head Trader in finding ways to innovate our trading systems and infrastructure.  Prior to joining Redwood, Donny began his career at State Street within the Trade Operations department.  He then joined Leerink Partners LLC, where he continued to develop his equity trading and operational background.

Steve FlammeY

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer

Steve is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day financial management, compliance with all regulatory filings, and oversight of the Redwood compliance program.  Prior to Redwood, Steve worked at Fidelity Investments where he was Director of Finance for Fidelity Ventures (Fidelity’s ventures capital group) and before that the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund.  In both roles, he had responsibility for finance, accounting, tax, and related compliance issues.  Prior to Fidelity, he worked in corporate finance and commercial banking. ​

Nicoletta Agostino


Nicoletta joined Redwood Investments in June 2021, upon graduation from Bentley University in May 2021, with a degree in Economics and Finance. While completing her studies, Nicoletta interned at Redwood for two years.  As an Associate, Nicoletta supports functions across many areas of the firm, including operations, trading, client service, marketing, compliance and finance.  Growing up, Nicoletta studied ballet pre-professionally for upwards of 10 years, completing programs with the American Ballet Theatre in New York and the Orlando Ballet in Florida. She now trains and competes as a ballroom dancer, holding a few Pro-Am national titles. When not in competition, she enjoys teaching ballet at Momentum dance studio in Wellesley, MA.

Director of Marketing & Client Service

Scott leads the Marketing and Client Service Team and serves on the Management Committee. Prior to joining Redwood, he was Managing Director of Sales, Marketing and Client Service for Kennedy Capital Management. Previously Scott held the Head of Institutional Sales role at both Macquarie Group and Turner Investments. He began his career at Capital Analysts. Scott is a member and past President of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE).

Matthew Maloney

Director of Marketing & Client Service

Matt is responsible for increasing the firm's distribution partners by broadening the firm’s relationships with consultants, registered investment advisers, and family offices.  ​​​

Lidney Motch

Director of Client Service

Lidney Motch joined Redwood Investments as Director of Client Service in March 2021. Prior to joining Redwood, Lidney spent 14 years with Copper Rock Capital Partners LLC as the Director of Client Service & Marketing. Previously, she has held Relationship Manager roles at PNC Advisors and at Wellington Management LLC where she primarily worked with public fund clients as well as Latin American and Canadian institutional plans. She formerly worked with Barents Group, LLC, a former subsidiary of BearingPoint Inc., where she was a consultant in the financial services practice in Washington D.C. and Mexico City, Mexico.  ​​​


Education: F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College MBA, cum laude, Wellesley College, B.A. with Honors.  

Broghan Miller 

Marketing & client service Associate 

Broghan supports the Marketing and Business Development effort at Redwood. Her responsibilities include the creation, dissemination, and maintenance of all marketing collateral and client service.  Prior to joining Redwood, Broghan worked for a boutique asset management firm, Windham Capital Management located in Boston where she assisted the marketing team in key business development initiatives. Prior to Windham, Broghan was a member of the Manager Selection team at Brighton House Associates, a firm who provided marketing and fundraising efforts to asset management firms in the alternative space.

Education: Southern Connecticut State University BA

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a qualification for finance and investment professionals, particularly in the fields of investment management and financial analysis of securities. The designation is an international professional certification offered by the CFA Institute to financial analysts who complete a series of examinations. The CFA designation is awarded to candidates who must pass each of three six-hour exams, possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, and have four years of qualified professional work experience. CFA charter holders are also obligated to adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and Standards governing their professional conduct. Please refer to  for further information.
